It’s based on our revolutionary algorithm concept: “HQ Sound”. In short this unique process doesn’t need a lot of bands to offer perfect sound stability. That’s why 4 band HQ Sound can easily surpass 5 or 6 traditional bands.

Sound4FM4 has been especially developed for the new radio markets. Outputs can therefore be used simultaneously for FM and for HD, DAB, DRM and of course web radio.
The HQSound algorithm engine integrates the problems of output reduction at its heart, which is why it rejects nearly 80% of the audio artefacts generated by the output reduction encoders.
Much more than a mere processor, the Sound4FM4 card has Audio Backup functionalities. The only limit will then be the capacity of the hard disk to store audio files. It is thus the first processor that guarantees continuity of the On the Air program!
The Sound4FM4 integrates in option the basic RDS coder co-designed by SOUND4 and AUDEMAT, (Audemat is the undisputed world leader in this field).

Since V2 upgrade, all HD/FM product range integrates in option functions of Audio IP transport.
The Audio IP range offer innovative functionalities expected by many users… mong them, it is possible to synchronize flows, switch IP flows with local insertion without re-coding (Pass trough). With Sequencer Light, it is also be possible to diffuse “sounds” locally from Sound4 cards “to fill” flow switch-over and hang-up....
On processing side, V2 integrates the optimization algorithms to guarantee maximum quality without the artifacts related to audio encodings.
